Some rare and precious moments touch our hearts and stay etched in our memories. One such miracle happened recently at our Apollo Clinic, Electronic City, Bangalore when the mother in labour delivered her baby in an auto in the parking lot of the clinic.
“The mother was brought to the clinic in a critical condition when the baby had already started crowning. It was difficult to take her inside the clinic. The doctors at the clinic, Gynaecologist Dr. Lakshmi and Paediatrician Dr. Babu, rushed to the basement and helped ensure the safe delivery of the baby in the auto itself ” said spokesperson, Apollo Clinic.
Later, the mother and new-born child were shifted to a hospital with the help of the Apollo Clinic staff. Apollo Clinic issued a statement praising the efforts of the doctors & Staff. “We are very proud of our team at Electronic City Clinic, who went over and above the call of duty to make sure that the child and the mother are healthy and safe. This is our true purpose, to serve our community for all their healthcare needs. The best part is – the overwhelmed mother and family have named the child ‘Apollo’ ”
